This dryer replaced a 17yr old dryer. Our space was limited and most new dryers are too big for our existing space. I am so pleased that this dryer is a perfect fit. Not only that but the capacity is much bigger and it dries much faster. I also like the drop-down door.

This is not the dryer that I would have purchased because it is missing some features that my last dryer had, but it is OK and I am stuck with it. The main thing I do not like is the door that opens downward. It is a very deep dryer and I am short, so I have issues reaching the clothes in the back of the dryer. It dries clothes fine, but I find they are more wrinkled than I like It also does not have just a wrinkle release cycle, nor a rack for drying sneakers.

Purchased 15 days ago. The original dryer was returned due to factory damage. Replacement was delivered and installed 3 days ago. Am happy with this dryer and it's sister washing machine. Both products are both holding up to their heavy duty claims. First day they went through 6 loads of laundry and were broke in well.

Our old gas Whirlpool dryer just die after 17 yrs. We trust Whirlpool and decided to get the electric drier. My two adults children and me use it and we are very happy with it, dries clothes faster and the clothes look not wrinkle at all, they even look sort of ironed, I absolutely see a big improvement in quality and recommend this drier.

I bought this dryer about a month ago at ABT in Chicago. I have had a tech come out because it was not drying properly. He showed which dials I should use and have complied. The clothes are still not coming out dry on the first try. I had 5 bath towels and two hand towels set at 70 minutes and I had to do it again as the towels were not completely dry. I will have to call ABT again.

My wife and I needed a dryer to replace our old Whirlpool. We didn't need a fancy CPU unit or something connected to phones. Our old dryer performed great and the Whirlpool dryers at work perform great (over 70 people using them 2 day in and day out), so happy to see Whirlpool still makes a basic machine that does its job well
