I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this washer was. We replaced our Bosch which broke 3 years in the 6 years we had it. After spending over $800 on repairs over the years, it seemed prudent to just get a new washer, and NOT a Bosch. This washer is performing well. No complaints. Now, if only it will last longer than the Bosch.

We bought this particular dishwasher after recommendation by a sales person at Bray and Scarf. We were looking for a moderately priced dishwasher with a stainless steel inside and a third rack. But once it was delivered, we discovered that you can't use the third rack with tall glasses or bottles, and things on the top rack dry with a dirt film on them. In addition, the salesman said you don't have to wash off the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. We tried that and the dishes and silverware did not get clean, even though there are special nozzles of water that shoot right up into the silverware holder. So, this dishwasher is disappointing and more than we wanted to spend. There were other dishwashers cheaper that, after looking at reviews, probably do a better job.

We shall see if it holds up to its great features that are offered over the next few months as we just Purchased and installed on 6/4/2022. Ran 1st load of dishes and ran so quite had to keep getting close to it and checking on timer count down and sure enough it was doing it's thing. Everything came out dry and crystal clear and our water source is on the hard side with that being said very pleased with 1st use results. The 4 extra cup direct water jet stems and the utensils extra jets under the basket are a great added feature and the Microban and many many more. Wish I could have gone for a 5 star but to new yet to say 5 so I'll start with 4. Thanks G.E.

Would've rated the dishwasher well had it not leaked from first use. In investigating the source of the leak, I found the stainless steel tub has a 1.5" crack in it. Now the hassle of having a service call . The dishwasher should be replaced…but I'm sure they'll weasel out of that.

The new GE Dishwasher with Ultrafresh, Bottle Jets, Silverware Jets, SaniSteam, and Dry Boost appears to be an excellent product. To create a lean for draining glasses with a recessed base (example: stemware), I wish that the user could lower just one side of the top rack and still close the dishwasher door. You can lower one side of the top rack, but if you do the door doesn't close. The top rack appears to require the user to raise and lower both sides of the rack together, thus keeping the rack level. I miss the days of the more reliable heater elements that acted as a dryer for the dishes and not just an element for heating the water. That said, if the user, engages the features provided, with a few minor wet spots, the user can get the dishes mostly dry, and after first run the dishes were dried very well. For most users, a one-button dry would make the product much easier to use. However, the GE Profile UltraFresh 42-Decibel Top Control 24-in Built-In Dishwasher (Fingerprint-resistant Stainless Steel) that meets the ENERGY STAR requirements, is still a Great Product! And it runs super quiet! Good Job GE!

We bought the dishwasher from Albert Lee appliance. They were terrific and delivery and install was great. BUT, we chose this dishwasher because it was supposed to be nice and quiet, and was in stock. We needed it right away. It is not quiet, and the normal cycle takes a total of 3 hours! It just is not as good a unit as the one it replaced which was 10;years old. Kind of a disappointment.

Although it took 3 deliveries to get one that wasn't damaged during shipment, once installed we loved exploring all the nice features like the upper flat tray, the water bottle washers on the middle shelf, and the easy to remove and place back in silverware tray on the bottom shelf. It is also very quit when it's running and also enjoy the option of having it run a sense cycle when it isn't running to avoid any mold or nasty smells.

What a lousy dishwasher Top rack constantly slides out when opening front door. The front door is light and cheap materials. Dishes do not dry completely and inside of dishwasher and inside of door always dripping wet when cleaning cycle is done . Have to dry inside of dishwasher after each use ,otherwise dishwasher will stink. Have to dry most dishes after cleaning cycle. My honest opinion its a cheap piece of crap for $1100.00. The top rack is poorly designed. Difficult to get bowls and small plates to fit that you don't want in the bottom rack. It is quite and does wash dish well. Items on the top slide out rack never dry even when on dry mode. The only way that dishes in the main part of the machine get dry is by putting on the drying cycle. Otherwise everything has to be dried by hand. In the instructions it says to open the door for the dishes to dry if not using the drying cycle. That's a bit odd. Not really worth the money that they are charging for this machine.

I had a 2 drawer dishwasher before and couldn't fit anything in it, I can virtually fit dishes from breakfast, lunch and dinner into one load. The bottle sprayers are amazing, my glasses come out sparkling new, I tried to put unprewashed dishes in and it cleaned it which my previous dishwasher couldn't do. It's super quiet, the only problem is it doesn't have a low temperature setting for plastics

My main criteria for a dishwasher was that it could fit under a 33 7/8 inch high counter. This one fits with 1/2 inch to spare. The fact that it's a great dishwasher is a bonus. It's super quiet, very fast and gets the dishes clean and dry. Oh, and it has Wi-Fi so it notifies me on my watch and phone when the dishes are done, which is kind of unnecessary but if you're a tech geek like me, you'll love it.

I use only Cascade products so far and I've tried every wash cycle setting. My expectations were too high based on previous model of a GE Profile.

My Honest Review

All the features that attrached me to the dishwasher have been great, like the 3rd rack, the adjustable middle or 2nd rack and especially the noise level. But my 3 star rating are about all the things I didn't ask or thought about before my purchase. First, the racks are not designed for small items such as 3.25 oz glass tumblers as an example (or previous Profile dishwasher handled them just fine). The 3rd rack is very nice but I'm not convinced that items get that clean probably due to the fact the rack below is obstructing the water spray. Why do I have to worry about that.. The little door that holds the Cascade pods needs to have clear access to the water spray or soap debris. On the plus side the racks allow large pots to be washed. The removable flatware caddy is nice too but I don't care for the slant on the top. Small items like measuring spoons such as tablespoons won't stay in the caddy as mine are top heavy so I have to use the 3rd rack. Bottom line, I am having to rethink how I load up the dish washer and I haven't been able yet to feel that I have efficiently done that. I seem to have to run the dishwasher sooner in the day if I don't want to wait for a 128 minute normal wash and dry cycle in the evening. If I have lots of dishes, I run a 60 minute cycle (and I set a timer) then hand dry the dishes, and then start another load. Ah the downside of high efficient appliances.

Came dented, needs skin replaced, soap dispenser doesn't close, top rack fell when trying to raise rack to accommodate bigger plate on bottom. Both need to be replaced. Unable to get replacements for 3-4wks. Paid $1600. for a new dishwasher?? Unexceptable!!

Excellent dishwasher. Super quiet, extensive features. Steam cleaning helps get loads super clean. 3rd rack is more versatile and useful then I thought it'd be.

I love how clean it gets the dishes. I also like the fact that the silverware tray has its own cleaning jets. It is a great dishwasher you can barely hear it running. I do like the added feature of it connecting to Wi-Fi I can start it from anywhere.

Love how the dishwasher is flush with counter / cupboards. Very sleek look. It cleans terrific ... first time using it our coffee cups came out so much cleaner! Wonder what else didn't get cleaned in our old washer. yikes! We also like that it is quiet. We have an open floor plan ~ can now have the dishwasher going while watching TV.

Unfortunately not satisfied. Not nearly as quiet as advertised and the racks are very flimsy. Not ideal....actually terrible for tall glassware either. Seems like it takes a lot longer to clean and dry vs our last dishwasher. Expected and hoped for better....
