Not much about a freezer other than it does what it is suppose to! This GE Freezer has a much nicer interior compared to other brands I looked at. It is easy to clean and I like the alarm in the event the door is not closed.

We purchased our first freezer shortly after we were married. It was a GE upright and never gave a moment's trouble in over 40 years, so when it was time for a replacement we naturally turned to GE. Delivery took a couple of months, but this new one is a worthy successor! I love the shelf organization, bright interior light, quick freezing of fresh foods, and--most of all--the knowledge that I will no longer need to defrost! 14 cubic-foot size is great for us empty nesters. Only feature I don't like: Door temporarily locks after being opened and closed so I can't remove a large package of something, close the door, take what I need from the package, and immediately return the remainder to the freezer. This means I often hold the door open, letting cold air escape. Overall, though, I love it!

We needed a good quality freezer that tus garage ready. This unit is exactly what we wanted and is a idea size for our needs. We also like that the controls are on the door so that they are always visible at a glance and has audible alarms in the event the door is left open or a power failure causes high internal temperatures.

Perfect freezer for our garage to keep extra items for longer term storage in order to eliminate weekly shopping during the Pandemic! It is wonderful for storing those excellent strawberries and other seasonal fruits that you yearn for and can't get in the off-season! Also, we make large batches of meals now, and then freeze packages and just pull one out and "heat and eat" when we want without having to cook all over again! The freezer features are convenient, spacious and everything is easily accessible! We love our purchase!

We love it, though it's been only a few weeks we have it.
It's much more practical having an upright freezer to accommodate properly all we need to store.
The only downside was that when delivered, I expected it to be brought inside and they delivered it to our garage.

We purchased our first GE freezer about 10 years ago, and, while it bit the dust, we figured it was time to upgrade to a new GE freezer. Runs like a charm, very quiet, lots of space, nice alarm and lock on it. Would definitely purchase a third!
