Pressure switch stopped working

4 year old dishwasher. Pressure switch no longer works. Used in a 2 person household. on average every other day. Seems to be a common problem, based on web searches. $109 to diagnose another $250 - $300 to have it repaired. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this product and will not replace it with another Frigidaire dishwasher.

Piece. Of. JUNK!!

I've had nothing but problems with this. The extended warranty only forces the repair service to make multiple trips, resist making part replacements, poorly plan for scheduled repairs and deliver subpar services.I've had to have the pump, pressure sensor switch, the keypad and motherboard replaced on this unit. It has been serviced more than 5 times and still does not function properly. Not at all.

Purchased 6 years ago when moved into new house. We were not regular users of the dishwasher, however, when we used it, it did not clean dishes well, even when pre-rinsing. We have tried using gel and tablets in which the tablets never dissolved. Now we're having a 3rd issue with the dishwasher sounding like it's about to run and then after 5 minutes, shuts off. Part & labor would cost about $300 which we decide it's not even worth repairing and invest in a new one.

Only cycle that runs is quick wash

I cannot figure out how to change the cycle to anything but quick wash. The dishes, silverware and glasses seem clean but the cups are developing a residue on the inside that easily washes off manually.It is quiet and the quick cycle is 33 minutes so there™€™s that.

I bought this about 3 years ago during a remodel - after the first year we had issues with the soap door opening - it would jam and no soap would enter the stream when cleaning - now we have a broken control panel and it is going to cost just as much to buy a new control panel as it would to get a new dishwasher - ALL during COVID 19 where my company closed down due to country wide shut downs - not happy -

Fails in its basic job description

This dishwasher did so well in its first year that I bought an identical one for my daughter. It has gone sadly downhill from there for both. (they are now 5 and 4 years old) Dishes that go in fairly clean come out dirty, especially glassware. The upper spray arm holes clog with every bit of food and even with liquid detergent, if you are foolish enough to try to use it against manufacturer recommendations. There is no way to open and clean the spray arm. For some reason, it stinks after running, even after cleaning the filter and running a vinegar boost rinse. It is very quiet. But so is the sponge next to it that I will use to rewash the dishes.

Too many Problems!

I had to call a repairman because I had an i30 on my display. The repairman explained that Frigidaire knows there is a problem with a pressure sensor and they have a kit that can be installed for $59.00 and a service fee of $109.00. So I paid for this kit and since then I have had to call again to have them come out ($109.00 service fee ) and now I need a new pump for $300.00. I am throwing this thing away!

GOOD while it lasted

I loved this dishwasher when I first got it but now I consistently get the i20 error code. It is so annoying. I have cleaned the drain and line per suggestions but this only lasts 1 wash cycle and the i20 error code returns.

This machine is terrible. Items come out dirtier than they went in. We rinse everything, use the Finish rinse and occasionally wash out the inside of the machine. It™€™s the worst product.

Now, every time we close the door after pressing "Start" ("CL" starts flashing), all of the lights turn off and nothing happens. Based on the other reviews of similar issues, I'm not sure whether to "call maintenance" or get a new dishwasher.

Horrible dishwasher

We have had this dishwasher for the past few years and nothing but headaches. the spray heads constantly get clogged with small food particles which appear to cause the dishwasher not to clean properly. I got used to cleaning these out from time to time by removing the sprayers and blowing air through them. Lately the it has started to leak around the front door on the bottom during wash cycle. I am at my wits end with this appliance.

Good until last week

The dishwasher was installed in November 2017. We bought the condo in January 2019. The previous owner wasn't here much and didn't use it much.We had great results with it until last week when, on two occasions, the dishwasher started to leak at the bottom front door seal. It was not a drip but a fairly steady stream of water which compromised several planks of the wood floor.Since its past the one year warranty, I now have to pay to have this repair. Hopefully, the floor will normalize and planks will 'even' out.

I have had this dishwasher four years now haven't used it in the past year because it had to be worked on twice so last year i stoped using it. I started to use it again last month and here we go again want shut off had to have a new control panel then used it again this week now it leaks I will never again buy a frigidaire appliance of any kind.

Bought this dishwasher a couple of years ago; it works when it wants to and has been like that since it was 366 days old. Always gets an error code, when you look it up, it would cost more to fix it than it would be to buy a new dishwasher. What™€™s the point. Will NEVER buy a Frigidaire Dishwasher again.

Broken control panel...again!

Started using this dishwasher in January 2018, had to have the control panel replaced at the beginning of November 2018 and it™€™s already needing to be replaced again. I understand that appliances are not built to last like they did in the past but less than 2 years is totally unacceptable! After reading through these reviews there should be a recall or something as the control panel issue is a very common theme! Very disappointed in Frigidaire and will not be purchasing another product from them in the future.

I have manages over 260 single family homes for two decades. Frigidaire was our 'go-to' company when replacing worn out appliance. Last year we began to refurbish our own home in preparation to sell it. We replaced all our outdated, white-enameled, GE kitchen appliances with stainless steel Frigidaire kitchen appliances. The electronic control panel on the double oven was dead on arrival. The electronic control panel on the Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher has now died in less than two years. Yes it's quiet, but it won't start. Yes the dishes get cleaned, but only after I wash them by hand.

Average Dishwasher

This dishwasher gets the dishes clean but the cycle is 140 minutes plus. I like the layout of the bottom rack, it holds a lot of dishes and bowls. The silverware holder has slots that are too small to accept some of our silverware. It is very quiet running, it has a green light that shines onto the floor when it is done but it is so quite we can't tell if it is running and open it while it is. An indicator light would be helpful. We can't tell when more rinse agent is needed because the viewing window is so small and dark. It is easy to keep the exterior clean.

Electronic Panel keeps freezing

I purchased a new build construction house 2 years ago and this dishwasher was pre-installed by the builder, as a brand new appliance. The electronic console has gone into some sort of "frozen" mode 3 times since i purchased the house and nothing works. Its just frozen. The first two times i was able to "reset" the panel by setting of my circuit breaker to the dishwasher for 20 minutes. This last time it stayed frozen for 3 days before a repairman came out to inspect it (despite shutting off the circuit breaker for 48 hours!!) The repairman had no idea what was causing it, called Frigidaire and they stated "...it could be 1 of 3 different circuit panels and there is no way to know which one is malfunctioning without replacing each one individually to see if that fixes the problem."The repairman had to order the electronic panels (which was going to take 1 week to come in. Mysteriously, on the 5th day of the machine not working (it was the 2nd day waiting for the panels to come in) the dishwasher made a random "beep" and then the panel started working again! Unfortunately that means the "issue" is still not fixed so all i can do is sit around and wait for the panel to freeze up again and start the whole process over again.

Worst dishwasher I have ever owned

We chose all Frigidaire appliances for our new house and have regretted it since. I have had others before, and this is by FAR the worst. Since day one, it will not dry dishes, even the silverware and plates are dripping wet at the end of the cycle....plus it constantly smells damp/ like mildew. The company we purchased our appliances from came out and replaced a few parts but nothing changed. We use rinse aid, run the hot water for a full minute prior to beginning the wash cycle, and load dishes correctly.....and nothing helps. I usually don't write negative reviews, but for what we paid for this unit, it should perform much better than it does. Very disappointed!

This dishwasher came with the home that I built 2 years ago. I have had others before, and this is by FAR the worst. It will not dry dishes, it runs forever (average cycle is around 1.5 hours), there is ALWAYS food on the dishes, even in glasses that are turned up side down, and it smells horribly. I have put in the jet dry, I have checked the water temperature. It has been this way since day one.

This dishwasher was put in our brand new house. In less than 2 years the dishwasher would not work. It would run a cycle and completely stop and beep about 30 minutes into the cycle with an error code. We had a board replaced and a year later were having the exact same problem. I called customer service and was told that without an extended warranty there was nothing they could do and that parts were only covered for 90 days. Upon talking to a service repair man I was informed fixing boards that are on top of dishwasher are very expensive and that I could buy a new dishwasher for the price to fix it. I don't trust that having it repaired will last. This product is terrible. I will never purchase a Frigidaire prouct again!

We purchased this dishwasher to match other new kitchen appliances. We've regretted this decision every load for three years. Food deposits and gross dishes are a daily finding after the dishwasher has been run. We've had six repairmen/companies out in the first year of ownership. We've been told we don't rinse well enough before loading, we've been told we rinse too well before running and it doesn't sense enough food to clean properly, we've tried five different detergents, numerous dry/rinse aid products, we consistently use lemi-shine, and clean the filters in the bottom of the dishwasher. Really? We've purchased dishwashers in previous homes and successfully operated dishwashers for years. This stupid thing is a mystery. I absolutely hate it and will never buy another Frigidaire product again.

I am disappointed. Same complaint - my control panel went out with in - 2 years and we don't use the washer once a week. I used a couple of cheaper brand which lasts 7-8 years.

When we purchased our new home we were able to select our appliance package. Unfortunately, this dishwasher was the only one available for the set I selected. It does not dry the dishes and the control panel will blackout leaving the dishwasher in a nonworking state. I have to carefully close the door to get the panel to turn back on. This takes several attempts and is VERY frustrating. I would never recommend purchasing this model!!!

Nothing is more frustrating than replacing a perfectly good 30+ yr old dishwasher with a brand new one that needs to be replaced in 3 yrs. The one that was still working after 30 yrs - maybe not as pretty as this one but I'd put it back in my house in a heart beat. In its short life, this piece of junk has already had the control panel replaced and is now in need of a new pump. The control panel replacement was 1/2 the cost of the new dishwasher. We will not be paying to replace the pump - instead we will be removing it from our house and placing it in the backyard for target practice. They even have a kit to replace this pump - its obviously a very common problem among this model. They've even discontinued the model. Frigidaire knows its a lemon but they just continue to try to sell their extended warranty and give advice like running the water in the sink before you start the cycle. Don't even get me started on what its like when its actually working. The dishes are never dry. Don't even think about putting anything in there without washing it first. We will never purchase another Frigidaire product. Not just because this one is terrible but because Frigidaire is not even attempting to make it right.

Bought this a year and a half ago and it hasn't worked EVER!!I've had many parts replaced and it still can't heat up the water. Every load I've put through has to have some of the dishes rewashed by hand! I would only recommend this product if you need an anchor for a boat! And it wouldn't surprise me if it still didn't do the job right! Stay away from the gallery series.

Eveyhing seemed great - quiet, clean dishes, ample features. Then, it stopped working. Serviceman came and told us it™€™s a faulty card which would cost us $480 to repair so we should buy a new one! Manufacturing defect - no recourse. Not good.

I have had this particular unit for three years. I was delighted with the unit through the first 21 months. However, longevity is apparently not it's long suit. Repaired near the end of second year of ownership. Waiting for repair again (different error code this time) at the end of third year of ownership. Unit has not been abused, run maybe once a day, with dishes that had been rinsed off before loading. Too bad.

I20 code for the 3rd time in 2 years. Installed in our new construction home 9-15-16. Had tech here on 7-11-16 & he replaced pressure switch. Had Tech back on 4-7-17 & he installed chamber. About 2 months ago the same code AGAIN. Not sticking more money into this dishwasher. Frustrated that I have to wait for a BEEP and push start 2-3 times during the cycle.
