From gas to electric convert

We™€™ve owned this range for about 2 months now and love it! We™€™d always used a gas range in the past and I never thought we™€™d switch to electric.After reading about the toxins released into the home with gas we decided to make the switch. I™€™m glad we did and this range outperforms all our wish list items. 1. Affordable, 2. The induction cooktop heats the pans in record time and doesn™€™t heat up the house, getting a pot of water is remarkably quick, 3. The oven preheats faster and is accurate, 4. The cooktop is super easy to clean, no knobs or burners to clean under or around.We are very happy with our purchase.

Issues with range

We purchased multiple Frigidaire products when we updated our kitchen. We have had an issue with each appliance. We purchased the range as a floor model and the rest came later. The circuit board went out on the induction top and needed to be replaced and most recently the front glass shattered while being used, the fan on the microwave began growling and needed a piece to be folded back, the dishwasher didn™€™t heat and needed to be fixed, and finally our refrigerator will not make ice. I™€™m not very impressed with the product to say the least. Only saving grace is we purchased the extended warranty on the products.

Good Value Induction

Pros:Efficient heat deliver. The food cooks, not me.Tons of power: Water boils in half the time, steaks sear in even less.Easy to cleanCons: It doesn't get along as well as I'd hoped with my All Clad cookware I bought specifically for it. The largest burner only works with cookware that is far larger in diameter.The heat isn't as even as with gas. This may also be related to the point above, but the heat is concentrated in a circular area in the center of the cookware, with I'd guess about 50% area coverage.Overall, I still love having it, and intend to stick with induction indefinitely.
